Siṁhāsana was created with joint knives and various construction tools. It is titled after the Lion Pose in hatha yoga and modern yoga. Siṁhāsana is a kneeling pose where the practitioner makes a facial expression with the mouth open wide and the tongue out to resemble a roaring lion. This large scale expressive abstract work is influenced by Hennick’s meditation and yoga practice.
