Supta Kapotãsana Abstract Painting

Supta Kapotãsana Abstract Painting

36″ x 36″ Large scale acrylic painting on gallery canvas installed in a black floating frame.

Supta Kapotãsana is a large scale abstract painting created with palette knives and non traditional tools. Titled after the eye of the needle or supine figure four, Supta Kapotãsana stretches the hamstrings and quadriceps and opens the hips as well. This abstract expressionist work is influenced by Hennick’s meditation and yoga practice and was completed in 2021.
