Hennick Showing at Buttonwood Art Space
Celebrate the rhythm of life with “Rhythm & Reveal” at Buttonwood Art Space! This exhibit will feature artwork in all mediums (painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, works on paper, video, etc.) revealing the rhythm of life’s powerful beat.
“Rhythm & Reveal” is an art benefit for Reconciliation Services (RS). For 30 years, RS has worked to level the playing field for neighbors who have faced social, racial, and economic discrimination and disinvestment. Half of each artwork sold will go to RS with the remaining half going directly to the artists.

Vīrāsana Abstract Painting

Vīrāsana was created with joint knives, rubber blades and construction tools. It is titled after the Hero pose in modern yoga. Vīrāsana is a kneeling asana and a beginning position for many forward and backwards bends or twists. Virasana may also be used as an alternate pose for meditation. This large scale abstract artwork is influenced by Hennick’s meditation and yoga practice. This painting was completed in 2024.
